This Is the Link Between Coaching and Meditation

Coaching and Meditation are connected

What is coaching?

And what is the link between coaching and meditation? Why am I always going on and on about meditation? Let me explain the fundamental principle and the reasons why these two are better together.

Coaching is a process of facilitation. It is a relationship designed so you can overcome your obstacles and challenges, learn to be more present and in the moment, help you create a compelling future and actualize your greatest potential.

Having a coach will help you identify blind spots, and hold you accountable so that you can consistently take powerful action towards what you are aiming to achieve. A coach will help you become more present, by bringing your attention to areas that you may be avoiding, and may need encouragement to face.

Now let me clarify.

What is meditation?

Meditation is a process of learning to calm the conscious mind (the only reason it is not calm is that it is either stuck in the past or future), dissolve unconscious imagery (means healing trauma, reframing circumstances or perceptions that aren’t useful), and reach the centre of consciousness (be present).

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.” – Carl Jung

Do you see the similarity? Well, the point is that meditation helps you to actualize your greatest potential, and so does coaching. And if you put them together, you are just supporting yourself most profoundly.

Coaching that does not have meditation at its core is like playing dominoes with one domino. You might flick that one domino over, but it is not going to have much more impact than that.
